To Kitchin’s fourth restaurant Southside Scran will open this November in Bruntsfield

Featuring an open rotisserie in the centre of a brass-accented, open-plan dining room, the restaurant’s menu will reflect Kitchin and business partner Dominic Jack’s passion for modern takes on traditional dishes, local produce and French cuisine, and will offer a daily seafood selection.

The restauran’ts dining room will feature tiled and wood floors, referencing French Bistro style dining. The interiors, designed by Tom’s wife Michaela and Stephen Paterson of Burn’s Design, will have a colour palette of dark green and rust-coloured pink.

The drinks menu will feature a strong wine focus, selected by the groups head sommelier Joel Bastian sourcing wine fromvariety of small independent producers, both old and new world, and a seasonal selection of cocktails will also be on offer.

The restaurant will be the fourth restaurant in the Kitchin Group that also includes the Michelin-starred Kitchin in Leith, Castle Terrace in Edinburgh city centre, and the Scran and Scallie in Stockbridge.
