The Little Chartroom Relaunches Delivery Service

One of Edinburgh’s most popular restaurants, The Little Chartroom has announced it is relaunching its delivery service next week. The exclusive three course meal with wine will only be available to 20 households on Wednesdays and Fridays on a first come, first served basis. So be quick!

The three-course set menu will be paired with a bottle of wine and priced at £65. The menu will change weekly and comes with instructions to reheat at home. The dishes will be skilfully prepared by chef patron Roberta Hall – McCarron, reflecting the high calibre offering of the restaurant, using seasonal Scottish ingredients.

Next week’s menu is Cured salmon, cucumber, and apple to start; a main of Braised beef cheeks, ragout of wild mushrooms, asparagus, pink fir apple potatoes, peas, and broad beans; with a Lemon panna cotta and strawberries to finish.

Roberta said: “When we previously launched the delivery and takeaway service the support was overwhelming, we sold out almost immediately. We decided to take a break and regroup, to make sure we had a solid plan and could deliver the same quality as the restaurant. I am excited to be cooking the food I love and bringing our restaurant dishes to the homes of people in Edinburgh”

The menu will be released on Thursdays at 9am for the following week. The restaurant will be delivering within EH1 – EH16 postcodes only. An online delivery system has been set up to order here.

While the restaurant was closed, Roberta and Shaun partnered with local charity, Edinburgh Soul Foodto cook and prepare hot meals to be delivered to people across Edinburgh who are either homeless or struggling to feed their family. The duo launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund the supply of cooking ingredients, the initial target was £750, they went on to raise over £6.2k.
