Harajuku Kitchen teams up with DRY Edinburgh for Japanese brunch

This Sunday, Harajuku Kitchen, the UK’s Best Japanese Restaurant (as voted for by the Asian Curry Awards 2016) takes up residence for one day only at Edinburgh’s only alcohol-free pop-up bar, DRY. The bar, on North West Circus Place, serves alcohol-free craft beer, wine and mocktails while serving up an array of food and entertainment events. The philosophy behind DRY is that it is possible to go out and have fun in an alcohol-free environment. “We don’t want to create a virtuous, hair-shirt experience; but rather a relaxed vibe where you can meet friends and share delicious food, drink and good conversation” says owner Tertia Bailey.

Kaori Simpson, Chef Patron of Harajuku Kitchen is no stranger to the Stockbridge area. Her popular street food stall sees an influx of the masses to the Stockbridge Market in search of their weekly gyoza and noodle fix every Sunday. This week, however, Harajuku Kitchen will play a different role in Stockbridge’s Sunday food scene.

In an effort to bring a different edge to the brunch scene in Stockbridge, Kaori has prepared an exclusive menu for this one-off event. From curry inspired burgers on freshly baked Brioche buns to typical Japanese street food skewers, the DRY x Harajuku Kitchen brunch is a sure favourite for the trendiest brunch of the weekend. Edinburgh’s pop-up collaborations have seen great success and popularity over the past number of months as the city’s population become more adventurous in their eating habits; DRY and Harajuku Kitchen’s collaboration this Sunday will be no exception.

Join Kaori and the DRY staff on Sunday the 19th of February from [time] and indulge in their exclusive brunch menu.
