Steak

Steak does what the name suggests; it serves amazing cuts of meat. The restaurant has a theatre like quality to the space, a former ballroom has been re-imagined into a meat eaters paradise with the large space being brought down to size with suspended wood beams running from the high ceilings and backless shelving helping to add intimacy between tables. Green bankers lamps and candles provide a soft hue and focuses your eyes on your plate. Opened in 2012 Steak has been quietly working away winning awards and serving perfect premium cuts of beef and is our favourite spot in the city for a steak.

Nestled between the rooftops of Edinburgh’s Old Town at the top of the National Museum of Scotland lies The Tower Restaurant. Part of restauranteur James Thomson’s collection, The Tower has long been a destination restaurant in the city thanks to it’s exceptional food and drink experience and panoramic views across to the Castle and we love this for a romantic night out.
