The Cauldron Magical Experience

Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre is The Cauldron® Magical Experience – an exciting interactive experience where guests wield their magic wand and use molecular mixology to brew drinkable elixirs. Wannabe wizards, don a robe and are led through a 1hr 45 mins session of spell-casting, creating heady alcoholic concoctions that change colour, bubble and smoke – you don’t get that at your local. Its interactive nature encourages plenty of hilarity and suits those of every age and stage (non-alcoholic, gluten-free and vegan varieties are available).

There are additional drinks available to purchase during the Experience from our Signature Potion’s Menu, as well as a limited food menu for purchase within the Experience.

Tickets for the experience cost from £29.99 per Wizard and include a welcome drink, two molecular cocktails, and the interactive experience. The experience is largely self-guided, but a potions master is on-hand to make sure that you don’t poison yourself!  Alcohol-free, gluten, and vegan options are all available.

On a Wednesday and Thursday night students with a penchant for magic and mixology can enjoy a special discounted ticket price of £19.99. All that is required is a valid student email address to book a place and join the fun.

If you are a family of budding Wizards then fear not as Family Friendly sessions are also available at selected times throughout the year, however only Wizards aged 10 and above are permitted inside The Cauldron!

And for craft beer lovers, it’s good to know that The Cauldron® Magical Experience are proud to be working with Innis & Gunn, one of Scotland’s leading craft brewers, in their first ever UK collaboration to produce ‘3 Sisters Pale Ale’, a limited edition collaboration beer made exclusively for The Cauldron® Edinburgh. The craft beer is infused with rosemary, honey and thistle— ingredients used in real magical history, and is a re-imagined old Scot’s brewing recipe.
