Bar Prince At The Balmoral Hotel Launch A Series Of Live Music Evenings This March And April

The decadent Bar Prince at The Balmoral Hotel will host a series of live music sessions every Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon throughout March and April this year.

A great repertoire of musicians will perform live, showcasing a mix of jazz, blues, country and popular music whilst guests sit back and relax in elegant surroundings.

Known for its excellent range of classic and bespoke cocktails, finest Champagnes, impressive Whiskies, British gins and Old and New World wines, Bar Prince is the perfect place to enjoy a sociable and sophisticated drink, indulge in a delightful dish and connect with the uplifting beats of live music.

Displaying an incredible vocal range with a distinctive all-round style, which can effortlessly leap from earthy and soulful raw emotion to soaring and ethereal angelic tones, Hayley has been likened to Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchel, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Bush.

With a vast musical knowledge and a varied repertoire, Simon Armitage is a seasoned performer, vocalist and pianist who’s played all over the world in bands and supporting musicians like the late great Johnny Cash.

Rhian Ferrigan

Rhian Ferrigan is an accomplished pianist and vocalist. Trained in classical singing, her incredible vocals and three-octave range come into their own during her performances. Taking classic songs, Rhian adds a modern twist to make them her own.

Catherine Ward

Saturday 19th March

Catherine Ward is a Scottish singer and pianist. She has been performing throughout Scotland for over ten years and during this period has built up a varied and extensive repertoire which includes jazz standards through to modern pop and indie classics – and everything in between.

David Mairs

David Mairs is a solo singer who backs himself on guitar and piano. With a distinct roots americana feel, his jazz style repertoire covers artists such as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder and Elvis.

Amy Reader is a well known face on the Edinburgh scene, a singer and guitarist, her repertoire ranges from Pop to Swing and Jazz and everything else in-between.

Ashleigh Humble

Ashleigh Humble is an accomplished musician that has been playing in and around the North East for over ten years. Originally a classically trained pianist, she has a wealth of experience in performing and an ever-growing repertoire of over 400 songs incorporating a variety of different genres, from pop to rock and indie to soul.
