Afternoon Tea at the Royal Society of Edinburgh August 2019

Looking for something a bit different this summer? The RSE (Royal Society of Edinburgh) is launching Curious, a month-long programme of talks, workshops, exhibitions and performances in the beautiful surroundings of its magnificent Victorian era building to explore some of the most pressing and interesting issues and ideas of the day.

Harnessing the diverse knowledge and expertise of its Fellowship and Friendship community, the RSE has put together an eclectic programme which will run from 2nd until 26th August. Topics include everything from the politics of migration and border control, forensic science and the law, menstruation, fake news and science of gin.

One of the highlights of the programme is their Afternoon Tea.

Enjoy a sumptuous Afternoon Tea of freshly-prepared sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries with a choice of teas, coffee and a glass of fizz, while discovering a little more about the RSE and its history, in the elegant surroundings of their Scott Room.
