The nation’s leading cocktail event, Cocktails in the City, returns to the Scottish capital this Thursday and Friday for two evenings packed full of cocktails! The beautiful Mansfield Traquair plays host to the fifth Cocktails in the City Edinburgh which promises guests the opportunity to sample unique and innovative concoctions from some of the most creative mixologists the city can offer! The event boasts an impressive roster of some of the best bars in Edinburgh including Hidden Edinburgh favourites The Epicurean, Hoot the Redeemer, and The Voyage of Buck. Each bar in attendance will offer a unique cocktail created using their specifically selected drinks partner, so attendees can expect contemporary twists on classic tipples plus some totally new creations! Tickets include a cocktail on arrival.
Chivas Regal will also be running an exclusive masterclass which will allow guests to discover the art of blending whisky. Aspiring whisky aficionados will learn to create their very own blended whisky under the guidance of experts in an intimate setting at Cocktails in the City. During a 45 minute ‘Art of Blending’ session, guests will discover the origins and history of grain whisky and single malts, before sampling each of the whiskies. Guests will then make their own unique 200ml blend to take home and enjoy!
